Pet Clark had a hit in 1961, called "My Friend the Sea". It was written by Ron Goodwin and Jack Fishman.

I have a LP "Music for an Arabian night" and the composer is listed as "Ron Goodwin and his orchestra". However, upon searching google, I could not find any relevant information. Also the CD page for this album at amazon.ca says that the composer was much influenced by Lebanese music (his birthplace) but according to Wikipedia, it is, Devon, UK, so which is correct ?
