Ronnie and Donnie Galyon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Ronnie and Donnie Galyon are the oldest living set of conjoined twins in the world.[1] They were born in Dayton, Ohio, on October 28, 1951. They are joined from the sternum to the groin and share a set of organs, so they cannot be separated. Their father refused to exhibit his sons at first, but later decided to, because of financial reasons. The boys were exhibited in sideshows throughout their childhood in the US and later in Latin America.
The twins retired and moved back to Ohio, where they live with their younger brother, Jim, in a house they bought with their sideshow earnings. Although they are retired from show business, they occasionally make appearances on television. They appeared on the Jerry Springer Show in 1997 and in a Discovery Channel documentary in 1998.[1]
