Rondell Bernard White (born February 23, 1972 in Milledgeville, Georgia) is an outfielder and designated hitter in Major League Baseball, and currently is a free agent. His career batting average is .284 and his career slugging percentage is .465.

[edit] Draft/current career

Drafted by the Montreal Expos with the 24th overall pick in the 1990 draft, White played there from 1993-2000. He also has played for the Chicago Cubs (2000-2001), New York Yankees (2002), San Diego Padres (2003), Kansas City Royals (2003), Detroit Tigers (2004-2005), and most recently the Minnesota Twins (2006-2007). White is presently an unsigned free agent.

[edit] Pre-Major League baseball career

White is a 1990 graduate of Jones County High School in Gray, Georgia, where he played baseball and basketball. He was the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Player of the Year in 1990 and was also was selected to the USA Today and Collegiate Baseball All-America squads that year. During his final four seasons with the Expos, he purchased 200 tickets for each Sunday home game for underprivileged children in the Montreal area.

On December 13, 2007, White was mentioned in the Mitchell Report in connection to steroids.
