Ronchi dei Legionari (Bisiac Ronchi, Slovenian: Ronke) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Gorizia in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 30 km northwest of Trieste and about 14 km southwest of Gorizia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 11,469 and an area of 17.0 km².[1]
The municipality of Ronchi dei Legionari contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cave di Selz, Soleschiano, and Vermegliano.
Ronchi dei Legionari borders the following municipalities: Doberdò del Lago, Fogliano Redipuglia, Monfalcone, San Canzian d'Isonzo, San Pier d'Isonzo, Staranzano.
