Ronald O. Loveridge

Honorable Mayor Ronald O. Loveridge of Riverside, California got his doctorate from Stanford and taught at the University of California, Riverside. He was elected as a councilmember in the city of Riverside, California in 1979 to 1993. He was elected as the Mayor of Riverside in 1993. He was re-elected in 1997, 2001, and 2005. He lives in the city of Riverside with his wife, Marsha. Along with his mayoral duties, he teaches a class about local California politics during spring quarter at the University of California, Riverside. Loveridge has made clear his stance on environmental issues in a recent public document called his "Call to Action."
