Ronald Kirkbride

Ronald Kirkbride (1923-2000) was a writer of escapist romances, Westerns, and mystery novels. His A Girl Named Tamiko (aka Tamiko), first published in 1959, sold one million copies worldwide, and became a film. His spy novel The Short Night was optioned by Alfred Hitchcock, who did not live to film it.
