NovaQuest Overview
NovaQuest partners with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies seeking to overcome challenges that may stifle product development, commercialization and financial goals. As the managed partnership group of Quintiles Transnational, NovaQuest offers accelerated pipeline development, flexible resourcing, new capital streams and access to senior-level expertise.

As president of NovaQuest, Wooten focuses on financing strategies that companies use to develop their products and bring them to market. His approach provides an increased use of strategic outsourcing by large pharmaceutical companies to lower their high fixed-cost infrastructure and increase utilization rates, and by emerging biotech companies to access a “virtual” global development platform rather than build their own. Since NovaQuest’s formation in 2000, Wooten has led the company in creating and managing partnerships with more than $2 billion committed in capital or services to companies of all sizes – from Big Pharmaceutical to start-up biotechs.
