Ron Tingley

Ronald Irvin Tingley (born May 27, 1959, in Presque Isle, Maine) was a Major League Baseball catcher.
Drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 10th round of the 1977 MLB amateur draft, Tingley would make his Major League Baseball debut with the San Diego Padres on September 25, 1982, and appear in his final game on September 27, 1995.
Tingley is perhaps best known for making his Major League debut in 1982, then toiling in the Minor Leagues for almost 6 years before returning to the Majors in 1988 and staying until his final season in 1995.
