Ron Smith, born 1924, is a British comics artist best known for drawing Judge Dredd for 2000 AD in the 1970s and 80s, but whose career stretches back to Deed-a-day Danny in 1949. He excelled in portraying the bizarre and crazy side of the inhabitants of Judge Dredd's city.
