Ron Roesing

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ronald Edward Roesing was the drummer for the gothic rock band The Marked. This band is best known as Billy Corgan's (The Smashing Pumpkins, Zwan) and Roesing's first major musical project. The band lasted for nine months between 1985 and 1986 in St. Petersburg, Florida.[citation needed] Roesing also played drums on the first release credited to the Smashing Pumpkins, the demo album Nothing Ever Changes.

Roesing released a demo cd ("Hope-fullness and the Oh-So Finite Happiness") under the name Recliner, which was given away with a request to make donations to two charities, the Lions Foundation and the Sturge-Weber foundation.

Ron Roesing has a new band called the Suns of Neptune [1] with guitarist Gus Isidore (Seal, Peter Gabriel, Phil Lynott) and they have a new EP out. Roesing has also played with Members of Filter, Ministry, and with a French artist named David Hallyday [2]. There are different EP mixes from Airfield Studios in England and from the Mix Room Burbank, California.
