He was first featured on the Dark Angel album Leave Scars, followed by Live Scars, and Time Does Not Heal. He also had a guest vocalist appearance on the Viking album Man of Straw.
In 1992, Dark Angel broke up, and Ron and the Dark Angel guitarist Eric Meyer went on to form a band called Hunger. They released a three track demo the following year. He has also played in the Christian thrash metal band Oil, but left in 2004 to pursue other musical interests.
Recently, he reunited with his old band mates of Dark Angel, but they are currently on hiatus due to Ron's health problems.
