Ron McGovney's '82 Garage Demo is an early demo recording by thrash metal band Metallica. Recorded in early 1982, the band's lineup for the demo was James Hetfield, Dave Mustaine, Ron McGovney, and Lars Ulrich.
The demo contained only two original songs, Hit The Lights and Jump in the Fire. The other songs are covers of songs from the bands Sweet Savage, Savage, and Diamond Head.
