[edit] Aromanian Wikipedia

It is true that the Aromanian Wikipedia has never got anywhere. Despite the insistence of the people who wanted it set up that it was going to be a proper Wikipedia, they have created not even fifty pages in two years of existence.

So you do think that it should be mentioned in article about _romanian wikipedia_? D_T_G (P L) 10:08, 8 April 2006 (UTC)

Well, it should be mentioned that the Aromanian Wikipedia was basically trialled on the Romanian Wikipedia first (sort of like an Aromanian test-wiki was set up on ro.wp) and that the idea for the Aromanian Wikipedia came from the Romanian Wikipedia community.

Romanian wikipedia = stubpedia, 10 random article ---> 8 stub, like this: "Melissia este un oraş în Grecia.". Useless, ridiculous. It's a fact, why delete?

Actually, Romanian Wikipedia is now in 21st position, but it could easily get to 19th. It could also do a lot worse, so maybe we should say it "struggles to be in the first 20" or something... --Venatoreng 08:41, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
