[edit] Copyrighted Image
The image included is copyrighted material. There is no fair use comment in the article, and as far as I can tell, no attempt was made to obtain permission from the copyright owner to use the image. MamaGeek (Talk/Contrib) 16:26, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- But there is a fair use rationale and a tag, and a source. Judgesurreal777 16:29, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
- I just added two fair use tags in the article itself, thought you meant on the image itself. Judgesurreal777 16:32, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Three points:
- Assuming you uploaded the image, did you try to obtain permission from the copyright holder?
- I'm not convinced of the fair use rationale you provided. I added a fair use review tag to the image, so someone more knowledgable can check it out. This is not the same as a fair use dispute, and will not necessarily lead to its deletion, unless the reviewer takes that route.
- I do not think this article should receive Good Article status until this is cleared up.

- I'll take it down and request that they release it into the public domain, and I'll put out a request for a free use image :) I think the GA review can be completed now.Judgesurreal777 18:02, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] This is a Good Article
After review, I have found this article to meet the qualifications for Good Article status. It is well written and comprehensive, as well as being well referenced. Further enhancements could include more free/fair use images (proper licences is critical to GA or FA status), and further development with current events (regarding the new constitution in Nepal). If you have any questions about my rationale, leave me a message on my talk page. Phidauex 19:17, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
