Notes

The DVD set comes in a decorative wooden box, with an eight page pamphlet titled Character Guide, which provides a small amount of information on each character in the series, as well as their relationships.

Disc 1 Episodes 1, 2 and 3. (Presented in their entirety, and not as the two 50-minute, cut-down broadcast BBC versions).
Disc 2 Episodes 4, 5 and 6.
Disc 3 Episodes 7 and 8.

Note that episodes 4, 5 and 6 on the disk are equivalent to what the BBC showed as episodes 3, 4 and 5. And so up until 11 and 12, shown as episode 10 on the BBC.
