Romano di Lombardia is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 45 km east of Milan and about 20 km southeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 16,718 and an area of 18.0 km².[1]

The municipality of Romano di Lombardia contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Bradalesco, San Lorenzo al Portico, and Albarotto.

Romano di Lombardia borders the following municipalities: Bariano, Cologno al Serio, Cortenuova, Covo, Fara Olivana con Sola, Fornovo San Giovanni, Martinengo, Morengo.
