Romano Joel Denneboom (born January 29, 1981 in Schiedam) is a Dutch footballer who plays for FC Twente as a forward. His former clubs are SC Heerenveen, Willem II, and NEC.

After having played for amateur sides Hekelingen and Spijkenisse, Denneboom made his professional debut for SC Heerenveen, on the 6th of February 1999, in the away game against Willem II (3-2 loss). He would play with Heerenveen for five seasons. First he was primarily utilized as a supersub, but starting from the 2002/2003 season he would start in the first team line-up. This did not turn out to be a success and ultimately led to a loan spell with Willem II in October 2003. The next season he would be sold to NEC. After two and a half seasons his displays attracted the interest of FC Twente and PSV.

As Denneboom's contract expired at the end of the 2006/2007 season he was closely monitored by both FC Twente and PSV. During the January 2007 transfer window, PSV showed interest in signing him, after failing to sign Albert Luque from Newcastle United. Both Denneboom and NEC grew tired of the negotiation and delaying tactics of PSV and on the 16th of March 2007, it was announced that he would sign a contract until 2010 with FC Twente.

He made one international appearance for Netherlands national football team against Liechtenstein on September 3, 2004.
