Roman Catholic Diocese of Merlo-Moreno

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Merlo-Moreno (erected 13 May 1997) is in Argentina and is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires.
The patroness is the Blessed Virgin Mary of Guadalupe.
The partidos (departments) that fall into the diocese are Merlo and Moreno.

- Iglesia Nuestra Señora de la Merced (Our Lady of Mercy Church): The church was opened on January 31 1864 and it was consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy. The building was designed in an ogival–gothic style by the prestigious architect Pedro Benoit and built by the builder Antonio Ayerbe.
