The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cheyenne (Latin: Dioecesis Cheyennensis) is a Roman Catholic diocese covering the state of Wyoming. It was founded on August 2, 1887 by Pope Leo XIII. Maurice Francis Burke was the first bishop.
