The Diocese of Abakaliki a Roman Catholic diocese in Nigeria. It was erected on March 1, 1973 from the territory of the Diocese of Ogoja with Thomas McGettrick being made its first bishop. It is a suffragan see to the Archdiocese of Onitsha
