The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Nyeri {Latin: Nyerien(sis)} is the Metropolitan See for the Ecclesiastical province of Nyeri in Kenya.

  • September 14, 1905: Established as Mission “sui iuris” of Kenya from the Apostolic Vicariate of Northern Zanguebar
  • July 12, 1909: Promoted as Apostolic Vicariate of Kenya
  • March 10, 1926: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Nyeri
  • March 23, 1953: Promoted as Diocese of Nyeri
  • May 21, 1990: Promoted as Metropolitan Archdiocese of Nyeri
