[edit] Colour scheme

My eyes hurt. Badly. That red colour really isn't very nice. Could the Portal's creator please change it? G1ggy Talk/Contribs 08:04, 21 June 2007 (UTC)

Any suggestions G1ggy. I just thought red was appropriate because it is so often used as the principal color of the Empire. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 18:16, 21 June 2007 (UTC)
Wasn't it more crimson or purple than the current shade? Regarding togas, see there and here.trespassers william 21:24, 24 June 2007 (UTC)
Yes, Random, red is kinda appropriate, but the current shade (at least when I left that message) wasn't making me happy...something a bit less in your face, if you know what I mean? Giggy UCP 09:50, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Complete

The Portal is getting closer to completion. Questions, Comments, Concerns. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (ταlκ) 23:57, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

I think intros are more common in a wikified form. Maybe we should put the source text and wipe the refs off? trespassers william 21:27, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Why not Ancient Rome portal?

Why on earth is this portal called "Roman Empire" and not "Ancient Rome". That would also encompass the Roman Republic and the Roman Kingdom. Seems very unatural to seperate the three, like it's now. - S. Solberg J. 00:06, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
