Hi. The info for Europe was taken from the Euratlas map of Europe in 500 AD. There is a 20 year difference, but most of the information is still accurate enough.
If you mean the Sabir tribe on this map, they are mentioned as a tribe seperate from the Magyars, and had disappeared long before the Magyars were ever called Hungarians. Though I could understand that some Magyars could have been of Sabir descent.
If you are referring to the Kabar tribe (which is not shown on this map), they were first mention several hundred years after this map, as a break-away part of the Khazar Empire. Granted, I've heard theories that the Kabars were descendents of the Sabirs, and I think the Kabars did help the Magyars conquer Hungary.
