[edit] Magyars = Szabir (Sabir? or Kabir)

- Hi. The info for Europe was taken from the Euratlas map of Europe in 500 AD. There is a 20 year difference, but most of the information is still accurate enough.
- If you mean the Sabir tribe on this map, they are mentioned as a tribe seperate from the Magyars, and had disappeared long before the Magyars were ever called Hungarians. Though I could understand that some Magyars could have been of Sabir descent.
- If you are referring to the Kabar tribe (which is not shown on this map), they were first mention several hundred years after this map, as a break-away part of the Khazar Empire. Granted, I've heard theories that the Kabars were descendents of the Sabirs, and I think the Kabars did help the Magyars conquer Hungary.
