I have moved the ten or so articles to category:romantic fiction writers, which was older and slightly better populated. "Romantic fiction" is a preferable name as it is only used for modern popular romantic fiction, whereas "romance" is also used for Medieval romance literature, which is a different thing. There was one stray thirteenth century Italian in here, but he was a minor figure, so they Medievalists haven't been using this category, and it is probably best that way, as doing so would lead to the two genres getting muddled up. The major medieval writers are in Category:Medieval literature. CalJW 20:34, 29 November 2005 (UTC)
