RGI shares some history with the RollerGames television series. Following the cancellation of the TV show, Bill Griffiths, Sr. organized several untelevised RGI matches. Two were held in Canada in 1990, and one was held in the USA in 1993. [1]
At some point, the league was sold to Bob Sedillo.[citation needed]
