Rolf Clemens Wagner
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rolf Clemens Wagner is a German communist and former member of the Red Army Faction. A German court convicted Wagner of participating in the kidnapping and murder of Hanns Martin Schleyer, head of West Germany's employers organization, in September 1977. The President of Germany pardoned Wagner in 2003.[1]
In late October 2007 Wagner told a reporter for Junge Welt newspaper that "from today's perspective," the kidnapping was justified. German citizens filed criminal complaints against Wagner for his statement and the prosecutor of Berlin is investigating Wagner for allegedly engaging in the offense of "endorsing criminal actions."[1]
