[edit] Replaceable fair use
This image is not an example of a replaceable fair use image. The device depicted, the Roland RE-201 Space Echo, has not been manufactured since 1988 and only limited quantities exist now. It is also unlikely that a similar device will be manufactured in the future, because the technology it uses is now obsolete, replaced by digital circuits.
I would be more than happy to photograph one of these devices and release the photos in the public domain, should the opportunity arise. Unfortunately, I have never been able to find one. —ptk✰fgs 20:17, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, it does seem pretty nonreplaceable. But I have removed the image from the article Delay (audio effect), where a fair-use claim for it is pretty weak. —Angr 15:52, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
