Can somebody help with translations? Japanese Wikipedia says:
- 社記によると、奥州塩竃六所大明神を勧請し、建立された。
I would translate that to: "According to the shrine annals, it was founded to worship the deity <Name>". But how do you read the name?

- 「塩竃六所大明神」 means 塩竃六所神社's kami. 塩竃六所神社 is current 塩竃神社 (Shiogama Shrine) and its kami is 塩土老翁命. nnh 06:33, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
