Rohit Viswanath

Rohit Viswanath is an editorial page writer for The Times of India. He comments on political economy and business. He is a critic of classical Indian dance and music, having reviewed performances of doyens in the field. Prior to joining the Times of India, Rohit wrote extensively for Businessworld magazine. He was honoured with the CNN Young Journalist of the Year Award in 2006. [1]

Rohit holds a Master's degree in International Relations. He is also keenly interested in Indian culture and history. He has particiapted in the archaeological excavations at Gilund, an Indus-Sarasvati valley civilisation site in Rajasthan.
