[edit] Hrolf Ganger

There are two theory´s in who Rollo of Normandy is. So it´s not acceptable to claiming that Hrolf Gange WAS the founder of Normandy. --Comanche cph 14:20, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

It is not acceptable to delete this information without regard to the discussion going on. It is not acceptable to call all edits made by people you disagree with "vandalism". --Barend 17:42, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
This has nothing to with disagreeing or not. This is a encyclopedia and not a pro-norwegian history site. This encyclopedia should be hold natural. --Comanche cph 18:50, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
You keep using words like pro-norwegian, norwegian fairy-tales, etc. What exactly do you mean by that? Is, in your view, the nationality of Rollo some great prize, which Norwegians are trying to steal away from Danes? I can assure you, it means absolutely nothing to me whether Rollo was in fact Danish or Norwegian, nor does it matter to most Norwegians, nor, would I suspect, to most Danes. What we are trying to get to here is a balanced representation of the facts - whereas you seem to want to delete all reference to the commonly held theory that Rollo originally was Norwegian. That is very disruptive, and not encyclopedic. Also, your constantly calling all edits that you disagree with vandalism, is extremely annoying, and does not lead me to want to take you seriously. If you present your arguments in a calm, objective way, people might want to listen to what you have to say. When you constantly call people names and accuse them of sabotage and vandalism, it only makes them hostile to you. --Barend 18:56, 28 June 2006 (UTC)
Ahh see, you don't wanna listen. You only wanna listen to the Icelandic saga.
I don´t remove any theories. But it seems like you STILL wanna keep claiming that Rollo IS the guy from the Icelandic saga, and DONT wanna accept the other theory. (With in my eyes seems more trustable).
keep the discussion on rollo of normandy
You can link to the Hrolf Ganger article, where BOTH theories is explained. But not claiming that he WAS the Gange Rolf. OK?
So please stop the pro-Norwegian sabotage.  ;o)
