Roger Cruz is the professional pseudonym of Brazilian comic book artist Rogério da Cruz Kuroda.
He was born in São Paulo, Brazil in February 22th, 1971.
His first worked for Abril Publishing House as letterer. After that he worked for Mil Perigos Magazine as a writer and art assistant.
When Art & Comics Studio started a representation of brazilians artists to american market, he got his chance to illustrate for Marvel Comics drawing Ghost Rider, Hulk, Uncanny X-Men, X-Men Alfa, X-Patrol, Generation X, X-Calibre, X-Factor, Avengers Timeslide and Silver Surfer.
In DC Comics he also worked, in a single work for The Batman Chronicles magazine.
At the end 90's, he took a break in working with comic book and came back to his country where contribuited as one of the founders and partners of Fábrica de Quadrinhos (Comic Books Factory) in Brazil.
He also worked as designer of storyboards to publicity agencies and character design for TV programs. He also worked as drawing professor for a 2 years course, lectures and workshops in universties.
Still being a Fábrica de Quadrinhos partner, he returned to work for Marvel in the United States with Darkness, Ascension, X-Men, Wolverine, and Magneto-Dark Seduction
In 1999 he gave up his projects in Fábrica de Quadrinhos and devoted his work in Comic Books.
In 2002, negociated by Art & Comics Studio he ilustrade editions of Wonder Woman.
In 2004, again in Marvel as Amazing Fantasy artist.
