Rogers Stevens (born on 31 October 1970 in West Point, Mississippi, U.S.) is the guitarist from Blind Melon, an alternative rock band which began in the '90s. He and Rene Lopez formed a band called Extra Virgin in 1999 and made a CD in 2001 (12 Stories High) but the band spilt up in 2002. His most recent project was with his band The Tender Trio (with Royston Langdon formely from Spacehog and Rene Lopez). The Tender Trio broke up on 03/02/2006.
In late 2006 it was announced that Blind Melon were to reform with a new vocalist. Rogers is part of the returning line up (essentially the same band minus vocalist Shannon Hoon who died in late 1995) and is currently recording with Blind Melon.
The band began touring again in 2007 and released their first studio album in 12 years, For My Friends, on April 22, 2008.
