Rogers High School (Arkansas)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Rogers High School is a secondary school located in Rogers, Arkansas. It is separated into two campuses; one for sophomores and one for juniors & seniors. Though officially part of a student's high school career, the Rogers school district does not colloquially recognize ninth grade as part of high school, but as a part of junior high.

Principal for the sophomore campus is Dr. Larry Ben, and vice principals are Gary Orr, Terry Gracy and Karen Smith.

Principal for the junior & senior campus is Bill Stringer, and vice principals are Mark Kruger, Robert Moore, Karen Smith, and Ronnie Highfill.

Beginning the 2008-2009 school year, Rogers High School will include grades nine through twelve in one building, diminishing the existence of a separate campus for sophomores.

Newsweek recognizes Rogers High School as one of the top 1,000 high schools in America, based on the number of students taking advanced placement exams.
