Roger S. Pressman

Dr. Roger S. Pressman is a notable software engineering author and consultant.[1] He is President of R.S. Pressman & Associates.

Roger Pressman has designed and developed Process Advisor (which his firm describes as "the industry's first self-directed software process improvement product"), and Essential Software Engineering (described as the "industry's most comprehensive video curriculum in software engineering"). Dr. Pressman has been on the Editorial Boards of IEEE Software and The Cutter IT Journal. He is a member of the IEEE and Tau Beta Pi.

Dr. Roger Pressman has authored seven books and many technical and management articles. He is best known for the textbook Software Engineering: A Practitioners Approach, now in its 6th edition and published by McGraw-Hill in 2005. The book has been translated into 8 languages and is the world's best selling textbook on the subject.[2] Pressman is also author of five other books on software engineering-related topics and has written a novel, The Aymara Bridge.
