Roger Pfund (1943 - ) lives in Carouge, Switzerland. He is without a doubt one of the most well known Swiss designers and one of the leading specialists of currency design. His work, both paintings and designs, are known for their richness in colors.
At the age of 27, Roger won the prestigious currency design contest, hosted by the Swiss National Bank for the design a new series of bank notes. He is also credited with the creation of the last version of the French Franc, as well as a series of the Euro, and the 2003 Swiss passport.
