Roger Leonard

Roger Leonard was a professional boxer, and was the older brother of boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard.

Leonard, like his brother, had an outstanding amateur career. He was the 1978 National AAU Welterweight champion. In addition, he was a four-time United States Air Force Champion.

Nicknamed Roger "The Dodger", Leonard turned pro in 1978 and failed to live up to his amateur success. Although he was featured on the undercards of Sugar Ray [1], he was unable to compete at an elite level. He retired in 1982 after having won 16 fight and lost 1 fight.
- Was ranked in the top ten by both WBA and WBC as a junior middleweight in early '81.
- Also was mentioned as an opponent for Ayub Kalue several months prior to Kalue's matchup with Ray Leonard.
