Roger Bechirian

Roger Bechirian is an English record producer, best known for his work with Elvis Costello, The Undertones and Squeeze.[1]

Roger A Bechirian was born in Kolkata (formerly Calcutta), India, in 1954, however by the age of ten, his family had moved to England.[2]
He took college classes in electronics and by 1972, he began working at a recording studio.[2] He started to record with musician friends and during this period he formed Blanket of Secrecy with Pete Marsh and Andy Howell. In 1974, he met with the founders of Stiff Records, Jake Rivera and Dave Robinson, and began working with the artists on Stiff Records, including Nick Lowe, Lene Lovich, and Elvis Costello.[2] Roger Bechirian has also worked with Dave Edmunds, Paul Carrack and produced The Monkees' Greatest Hits (1995), amongst other.[2]
