Thanks for your input on the Brian McLaren discussion page! This article will eventually be open once again for editing and we can use people from a variety of perspectives to join in the collaborative process. It seems to me that you may have some unique expertise to bring to this discussion. Thanks again for thinking about us. I do believe we can make this a good article. By the way, "Frank Thomas" has been indefinitely blocked as a sock/meatpuppet of Virgil's so we are in need of new editors on this article which I think needs some improvement. Your input is most welcome. The collaborative process has been plagued with problems of incivility, but I am convinced that editors who are able to control their tone will ultimately succeed in creating a good article and those who cannot will eventually be blocked the way "Frank" was. We have another very pleasant editor named Wjohnson who has volunteered to join us and I look forward to working with him too. Your well-reasoned input is valued.Will3935 00:41, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

- By the way, I will have to look into the article on preterism that you have been working on. I'm a minister in a premillenial, pretrib denomination. WILL3935 is not pretrib though! George Eldon Ladd long ago blew that theory away for me. My eschatology is still a work in progress and it has been on the back burner for far too long! Perhaps I can learn some things from you and the others at that article since eschatology seems to be an item you are currently passionate about. We may not agree on every detail but I am sure you don't expect to exercise micromanaged thought control over me the way some people do. See you there!Will3935 01:24, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
One more thing (my favorite phrase!). I noted from your comments that you have had some enlightening experiences with emergents. I have been studying this movement extensively and have also had many enlightening experiences interacting with them. I would be interested in hearing your comments on my user talk page. Justification might be my involvement in the emerging church movement article. Thanks.Will3935 07:34, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Will Again
It seems to me that for the Brian McLaren article to become unblocked we have to come to some kind of consensus on the discussion page. I have put a couple of proposals on the page. Virgil seems MIA for now and "Frank" was indefinitely blocked for being a meatpuppet. If you might take time to briefly respond to my proposals I think it might help us to get unblocked and get back on track. Thanks!Will3935 09:00, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Delayed Response
Sorry Will, I don't check wikipedia that often especially after my frustration with the tactics of some people. You called Frank a "sock/meatpuppet" does that mean Frank is really Virgil using another account or simply that he blindly supports everything he says? I would prefer to interact with you further on this via email -- What is the best way to get that to you? Roderick E 03:38, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
