[edit] Don't Delete

For the many of you jumping down my throat to delete this because i can't supply a verification (which I don't know how to do) please don't delete this. This article is about the main character have a long book series which i am currently launching a slow one-man assult on wikipedia to have it accounted for, being that ypu only include stubs of it. If deleted this will set me back to page 1.

There seems to be a few things that need doing - for example check notability - keep a copy so that if necessary you can work on it away from Wikipedia then bring it back if necessary, and put the page up for Wikipedia:Requests for feedback when you have developed it more. Look at Wikipedia:Verifiability not only will you need quotes from the books that include the character you will importantly need references from reviews, critics, etc. Edmund Patrick ( confer work) 13:16, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
Yes, WP:FICT says that, in general, characters should be discussed within the main article about the book they appear in, unless it's a character about whom there are multiple, significant sources independent of the work discussing them. If there's nothing to say about the character other than what is in the book, then there's no reason to have an article separate from the book article. When you say that you don't know how to supply a verification, do you mean that you don't know how to format your source, or that there are no independent sources discussing this character? If there are no independent sources, then this information will be more useful in the main article on the books. -FisherQueen (talk ยท contribs) 20:05, 23 December 2007 (UTC)
