Rodrigo Ignacio Valenzuela Avilés (born on November 22, 1975, in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean football player. He is a midfielder, who currently plays for Universidad Católica. He has been playing for the international team since his debut against England on February 11, 1998. He was part of the Chilean squad which participated in the Copa América 2004. He has spent his entire career in club teams in either Chile or Mexico.
