Don Rodrigo Pérez de Ovando was a Spanish military and nobleman.

Rodrigo Pérez de Ovando was a son of don Pedro Fernández de Ovando and wife doña María de Azagra. He was at the Conquest of Cáceres on April 23, 1229. In 1232 he gave his brother don Hernán Pérez de Ovando the donation of the part that corresponded to him at the Conquest of Cáceres. He hold the title of 1st Count of Ciudad Rodrigo, which he founded again with order of the King and had in fiefdom and governation.
