Rodrigo Medeiros

Rodrigo "Comprido" Medeiros (born January 10, 1977) is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. His nickname, Comprido, is Portuguese for "long". Rodrigo began BJJ at the age of sixteen, he was inspired to start by his cousin Mauricio, and his friends Leozinho and Ricardinho.

Comprido is known for being a seven time BJJ world champion, an ADCC competitor, and after moving to the United States becoming the 2007 Super Super Heavy Weight Pan-American Gi and No-Gi champion[1].

He currently resides in the Chicago area, teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling at Flo MMA in Palatine, IL.
