Rodrigo Dorfman

Born in Santiago, Chile, Rodrigo Dorfman is an award-winning filmmaker based in Durham, North Carolina. His first short film My House is on Fire, has screened at some of the top international film festivals (Edinburgh, Telluride and Toronto International Film Festival). With his father, Ariel Dorfman, he won the prestigious 1996 Writer's Guild of Great Britain Award for best television screenplay for a BBC VJ Day special called Prisoners in Time starring John Hurt.

Rodrigo Dorfman is currently working on a film script for Salma Hayek’s new company Ventanazul. Los Sueños de Angélica (Angelica’s Dreams), produced by Latino Community Credit Union is his first feature film.
