Rodrigo Baldasso da Costa, often known as simply Rodrigo is a professional football player, currently playing in Brazil, for Flamengo. Rodrigo began his career in Brazil, playing for his local club Ponte Preta, being Copa Libertadores 2005 champion for São Paulo Futebol Clube, and after spending 3 seasons there in February 2005 he moved to Kyiv, very soon Rodrigo established himself as a talented defender and on several occasions leading the team as a captain. He transferred himself to Flamengo in December, 2007. In his first game as a starter for Flamengo on February 07, 2008, Rodrigo fractured his arm and is not expected back until the beginning of July.
