Rodolfo "El Lobo" Fischer (born April 2, 1944 in Oberá, Misiones) is a former Argentine football striker. He played club football in Argentina and Brazil and represented the Argentina national football team.
Fischer started his professional career in 1965 with San Lorenzo de Almagro, he was an important goalscorer for the club and was part of three championship winning campaigns. The first title came in the 1968 Metropolitano championship, San Lorenzo completed the tournament without losing a game the first team in the professional era of Argentine football to become unbeaten champions. without losing a game.
In 1969 Fischer was the top scorer in the Nacional championship with 14 goals.
Between 1967 and 1972 Fischer won 35 caps for Argentina, scoring 12 goals[1]
Fischer left San Lorenzo in the middle of the Metropolitano to join Brazilian team Botafogo he enjoyed several years with the club, but eventually returned to San Lorenzo in 1977. He left the club in 1978 with 141 goals to his name, making him the 4th highest scorer in the clubs history.
Fischer had another spell in Brazil with Vitória then Sarmiento and Sportivo Belgrano in the Argentine lower leagues.
