Roderick Blakney (born August 6, 1976 in Hartsville, South Carolina) is an American professional basketball player currently with Olympiacos Piraeus BC in Greece.

The 6'0 1/2" (1.84m) point guard played collegiately at South Carolina State University, averaging 20.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in his senior year during the 1997-1998 season.

Since college, Blakney has played for numerous teams, including other Greek clubs such as Iraklis Thessaloniki (2001-02), AEK Athens BC (2002-03), and Maroussi BC (2003-06). He played with MBC Dynamo Moscow during the 2006-2007 season. He recently acquired a Bulgarian passport, which will allow him to play in the Greek League without restrictions.[citation needed] Blackney is a member of The Bulgarian National Basketball team.
