Roderic O'Gorman was an Irish Green Party candidate in the 2007 Irish general election. He ran in the Dublin West constituency [1]. He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 2004 and stood for the Green Party in local elections that year, winning 5.2% of the vote in the Castleknock electoral [2]. Although not expected to win a seat in Dublin West at the next election, he aims to build on his profile and gain a local authority seat at the next local government elections, scheduled for 2009. He currently serves as the Deputy Chair of the Green Party National Council and is the academic co-ordinator of the Legal Aid for All Project[3].
