Rod Fanni (born December 6, 1981 in Martigues) is a French football defender, currently playing for French team Stade Rennais FC. Premier League side Newcastle United were said to be interested in the player. The fee quoted is said to be around £3m for the versatile defender.[1] He finally joined Stade Rennais FC from OGC Nice. Fanni is of Benian descent.
