[edit] Cuj...

Stvarno me smara da se raspravljam o odredjenoj lingvistickoj oblasti sa kvazilingvistima. Ako si trazio ekspertsko misljenje, dobio si ga. Ako to nije dovoljno dobro, sta da ti radim... Ionako vremena na bacanje nemam. --millosh (talk (sr:)) 18:42, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

I don't know which is your first language but you seem to know English. Do you wish to discuss the nature of vandalism? Are my points all but encyclopaedic? Have you sat and read many of the other articles? Are you not confusing me with the dozen or so other people who use this terminal each with their own password? Ragusan 19 October 2005

Just one more thing worth mentioning...I have no idea if you have any links to anybody from the former Yugoslavia but you seem to think you know a lot. If I went off on a tangem and lost the plot on the Montenegrin article then that was so; I certainly felt the details were relevant and easily understood by anyone wishing to do so. You switched my reference of the language of Bosnia back to the Serbian spoken in Bosnia. What the hell is that supposed to mean? I was raised in a town called Brcko to a mostly Croatian background, there is no damn difference between the speech of my father born in that town and the local Serbs. But the speech of the Serbs in Brcko varies with the speech of Serbs in other parts of Bosnia and Herzogovina (and I say the last names not as a single entity but advisedly as two distinct regions) but in any vilage or district where Serbs are settled alongside Muslims and Croats there is NO difference in speech, only writing with Serbs favouring a Cyrillic. I will soon be making ALL these relevant points on here and I warn you from now, watch where you tread - you are entitled to your views and I respect every one of them and will do nothing to alter your entries. I ask the same of you and everyone else. Ragusan 18 October 2005

Izvini, nisam znao da si naš čovjek; kao što ja kažem "The English must not get the wrong end of the stick and be misled about us!".

Mnogo pozdrav. Ragusan 21 Okt. 05

[edit] Serbo-Brazilian

Hi Rocky!

Although I have this typically Serbian name, I'm Brazilian, and I started learning Serbian a few weeks ago, by myself. I have never been to Serbia, but my father was from there (he was born in Leskovac), and I want to visit my father's country, hope it will be soon, I'm saving money for that!

I don't know if I can give many contributions to Serbian topics on Wikipedia, but if I can do it, I will!

-)

Pozdrav od

Milene

Hi Milena, where in brazil do u live?

[edit] Bruce Lee

Your edit summary for your recent cleanup editing at the above article made me smile, as I've been watching crazy hero-worship stuff be added to it over and over for a couple of years now. Let's say that Bruce still has many very enthusiastic fans. I look in on that and related articles when I can to try to keep things a little less outrageous, but those got by me. Cheers! --Fire Star 21:40, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] hi

"Demographic history of Kosovo (→20th century - I have put speculation in the article, but I will try to find citations. But that aside, Arnaut is old (pre 19th century) name for Albanians. Derrogative (ironically) is Šiptar.) (top)" That was your part.

I thank you for contributing in removing speculations. I just want to refresh your memory that it was Seselj types (in the 20th century) who mentioned that "Arnauti" should be expelled "preko Prokletija", thus what I wrote was not wrong at all. "Siptar" is just another derrogative, in the group of many, that Serbian extreme nationalists use against Albanians in Kosovo. Greetings, ilir_pz 22:43, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

With all due respect, if a foreigner reads that title in original "Iseljavanje Arnauta", even if he/she knows the derrogative form for Albanian name, he will have no clue what "Arnaut" stands for. So it is relevant. No matter if it was "en vogue" (ironically) in earlier years to be used it needs to be clarified, as it is one of the derrogative forms. You say "A term cannot have negative conotations for only being used in a negative sentence by a negative person. ", I think we are talking about a document prepared by the Serbian Academy of Arts(yeah right) and Sciences for expulsion of Albanians. Vaso Cubrilovic was only the head of that Academy, so he is not some individual out there, but an important person. Sorry for not signing fully in my previous comment, wasn't my fault, I put 4 tildas, seems like not all of them worked. Hope this time they will. Ilir pz 01:01, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Now that is some arts, expulsion of a different nation. Never mind that. I do not agree with your "wikification" of the name "Arnaut" as it is not an alternative name for Albanian, it IS a derrogative. Thus I will remove it. Ilir pz 16:23, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] vandal

To call Castro a dictator and Che Guevera a serial killer is not vandalism, but a mere statement of fact. By reversing those edits you are showing your self to be a supporter of murderers and communists who is unconfortable with the truth. I will begin to review your other edits to see what else you have incorrectly edited to bring back objectivity and truthfullness to those pages.Incorrect 22:56, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Serial killer - definition

Serial killer is a term applied to a specific type of criminal behavior by forensic psychologists and criminologists in the United States. Serial killers are criminals, not politicians, and are handled through the Criminal Justice System. Serial killers are solitary individuals acting alone and never for political or military reasons. The motivations of a serial killer are individual to that person. Theodore Bundy is an example of a serial killer. KarenAnn 11:49, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Paradisi

Removing the copyrighted-to-Move Records material from Pietro Domenico Paradisi unless you were, in fact, its author also and release it under the GFDL Schissel | Sound the Note! 06:11, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: I have removed too much from the article

Actually, if you look at the Copyright rules- one reverts to the last version that contained uncopyrighted material (correction: the most recent version not to have copyright problems- but: since all the versions contain your cut-and-paste of copyrighted material, whether or not they contain new material- they're still copyright problems. So... Wikipedia:Copyright_problems... issue...), whether or not there have been original changes since. Since that last version was before the article was created, I compromised and removed all the material in your first version that wasn't copyrighted- the first paragraph. One can now make a new version based entirely on GFDL material on a temporary page. (Oh, and one other thing? When it says, don't remove material, write on a temporary page until copyright matters can be hashed out- it means it, thank you. Don't remove a {{ sort of thing because you want to, don't buy problems for someone else's website. Thanks again.) Schissel | Sound the Note! 16:58, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Keri Russell Page,Adding Links To It

208says:Hi Rocky, I c Yamla jumped all over u as well. I appreciate u also agreeing that the links I added r not spam. Please go to here , the Keri Russell discussion page and comment. I have been corresponding with Yamla but he thinks knows what is appropriate and what isnt, then he said something about flash. I think the links r all important, even the felicity fan page. Thx Rocky!

RockyMM: I would like also to suggest to you, 208.58.196.156, to register on Wikipedia, because it would make your editing easier, you could edit semi-protected pages, your edit history would be confined to your username, and also it would be easier to talk to you.RockyMM 13:31, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

My parents are so worried about indentity theft so I dont like to register for anything online unless it is mandatory, & then I have to wait for my parents 2 b sitting here next 2 me. Is it bad that our IP address is visible...like some 1 could use it 2 get in2 our computer? (When we shut down the computer we take out the ethernet cord-->that is how scared&paranoid my parents r!) As far as semiprotected pages, I havent come across any that I needed to correct or add more info 2. About Keri Russell, I'm going to add the links but not add the noelcrane.com link.Thx again! ;)

[edit] Thanks for your comments on Derek Sherinian's page

Saw your comments at Derek Sherinian Visit again if you like soon...I've added more stuff...and let me know what a barnstar is??? LOL Tvccs 13:58, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

After making about 400 edits to this thing, and really fiddling the layout to death, at this point I'd rather not, if possible, as the page in its present form has a lot of outside linked detail and layout info I haven't seen in a lot of Wiki pages. As I indicated, I've actually been in touch interviewing Derek about this stuff, which he thinks is very important, and I think the layout here has some improvements over the standard templates, which I did visit, unless I'm missing something in what you're saying??? That being said, I think it would be a good idea if you wanted to sandbox something to show a demo of what you have in mind? I'd be very interested in seeing it. I'm also going to expand the album listings and info and get the Planet X solo album detail up, and fix a bunch of minor fact errors I've found. Thanks again for your input! Tvccs 17:49, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
Rocky...go ahead and use what you laid out on Talk:Derek Sherinian/Temp and change it, but use the present copy on the Wiki page as there have been additional changes...it looks good...just be sure the border color selected matches the Wiki formatting suggested. But I thank you very much, and I'll be getting back to you on the other stuff soon. Tvccs 03:10, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sherinian Images

Trust me...I knew. It's been my own WikiNightmare. Any fair use image is under attack of a living person, and because I publicly disagreed on a talk page with how it was being enforced, all of my images came under attack. Derek was kind enough to let me use a lot of promotional images he provided to me personally, as well as other images that came from Clavia press releases, etc. He refuses to license them under GFDL, which would allow anyone to use them anywhere for anything without his knowledge or permission. That's the goal of a select few on here, and they are ramming their idea of a "free" Wikipedia down eveyone else's throat. There are many more images that were being used on other pages that were also deleted, with very few exceptions, no matter what Fair Use rationale was offered, and I've lost dozens of images and countless hours of work. Yes. I know the page now looks like hell, I'm sorry. Derek is fully aware of what's going on and is dumbfounded. If you look at my user contributions, you can see what's been going on. Thanks for the notice, and best wishes. Tvccs 12:58, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Aguri_Suzuki.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Aguri_Suzuki.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MER-C 10:12, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
