The Rocks Cluster distribution is an open source non-commercial Linux distribution that has been around since 2000.[1] It is a notable on its own right, as can be seen by the Google test (1,950,000 hits).[2] Although it is not generally used by end users for personal desktop installations, its used in cluster server farms and in the grid computing space is relatively prominent.
